PAL and the UBC Ropes Course are able to create universal adventure-based learning programs that fully integrate people from the entire spectrum of physical and emotional abilities. However, we take special note of the fact that some people may face unique challenges in completing our course.

Our course and washroom facilities are all wheelchair accessible. In addition, we have specially designed group activities and high elements for individuals of all ages and abilities. The course has been designed with the contribution of Professor Don Rogers (Ph.D, CTRS) of the University of Indiana, who is recognized as a leading authority on Recreation Therapy. Professor Don Rogers has trained our staff in working with universal programs and in the value of all participants having an input in the programming.
