Conquer the Course for the Right to Play @ UBC

On November 5th 2005 the UBC Ropes Course hosted the inaugural “CONQUER THE COURSE fundraiser benefiting Right to Play @ UBC. Right to Play is an international humanitarian organization based in Canada that works to get sport and play initiatives into refugee camps for children. This has been the first year of existence for the Right to Play chapter at UBC. The fundraiser involved a number of teams competing against each other in teams of 6 at the course. After a long day in the rain and cold, 30 participants and a number of volunteers and staff helped make a difference in the lives of children in the world’s darkest corners by raising $1,524!!!
