CONQUER THE COURSE - The Right to Play @UBC
On November 5th, 2005, the UBC Ropes Course hosted the inaugural 'Conquer the Course' fundraiser in partnership with Rights to Play @ UBC. Right to Play is an international humanitarian organization based in Canada that works to get sport and play initiatives into refugee camps for children. The fundraiser involved a number of teams competing against each other in the rain and cold. After a long day in the rain and cold, our volunteers and participants helped shine a light into the lives of children in the world's darkest corners by raising a total of $1,524.
